Our Story

Why MTM Scholars exists.

MTM Scholars was built after seeing the same pattern repeat: students in 6th, 7th, 8th grade — sometimes high school — who had been passed along without anyone identifying the real problem. They weren't bad at math. They were missing the foundation.

Most tutoring platforms start at your grade level and work forward. We start at the beginning and work up. Because the only way to fix a cracked foundation is to go back to where the crack started.

The name says it all: More Than Math. Because when a student finally understands why math works — not just how to do it — something shifts. Confidence builds. School gets easier. The world makes more sense.

That's what we're building. One scholar at a time.
